I really enjoyed reading this book. An intriguing story set in Spain . For Which I have a great love as lived there for sometime.. I enjoyed reading about the dramas and exploits of Lou granger some of which she created herself. But you couldn't help but sympathise with her on many an occasion. And laugh there were many amusing moments in the book , well done penny a good read. Light hearted and funny. I look forward to hearing more from Lou and her life in turkey. I do hope you will continue to tell us all about her exploits , I'm sure there must be many more up her sleeve.
I could not put this book down I adored it and I was privileged to be reading it in Guardamar del Segura! The only sad part was when it ended, but I'm sure Penny will come up with another one of her lovely 'makes you want to be there' novels in the not too distant future. I would thoroughly recommend you stepping into Spain for a touch of escapism. If you haven't read Friendship love and apple tea or Bringing Billie back they are equally brilliant reads too as you will immediately relate to all the characters and wish you were there with them.
I absolutely loved reading this book which is the sequel to Friendship, Love and Apple Tea. Penny writes with warmth and humour and I found myself really caring about the characters. I hope it won't be too long before we can read about Lou and her next adventure. I throughly recommend this to all.
Well, I have just finished 'Friendship, love and Sangria', yet another fantastic read, especially whilst on holiday in the sun - just perfect! Loved getting back into the adventures of Lou & Seth (plus new characters of course!) being transported to places I now want to visit! Can't wait for the next sequel, wondering where it might be set next time.......😀🌞
