This is an 'urban/travel' backpack. The main materials are not as tough as you may find in other daypacks and its quite weighty. There are certain flourishes that seem pure fashion. So it's a little over-designed IMO. Overall, I like this pack for what it's intended for (laptop/tablet etc).
Good points: Keeps shape and stays compact when not fully loaded. Has good internal organisation and protection. Easy to find things. Back padding and harness seem quite breathable.
Downsides: Shoulder straps are wide and stiff for a pack of this size and quite close together. Resulting in them coming close to the neck. This has potential to rub the sides of your neck if you're on the large side, especially when using the sternum strap. The generously padded back seems slightly concave (not sure if this is a quirk in my example) causing the seam at the base of the pack to rub if you do not have the pack strapped on tight and carried high. I have not done any long walks with it yet, so not sure if this will prove uncomfortable. I may attempt gently bending the pack, in the hope of straightening it, to alleviate this.
