I don’t normally buy utensil with C list celebrity names on it, but I bought this partly as a photography prop as well as a pasta cutter. The wheels are made out of the cheapest tin imaginable and on their first use began to buckle. I don’t normally post 100% negative feedback, but this is a nasty little rip off!!
Not sure yet whether this is good or a novelty. Normally I use separate wheels for pastry, but thought I would try one recommended by the master baker Paul Hollywood. The pastry wheel is well made and washes well. I find the two wheels together a little clumsy. They do work independently, but the angle has to be correct. I might grow to love this tool, but at the moment the jury is out. Great if you lack space in the kitchen drawer - as this is a two in one gadget.
In retrospect, I would have bought two separate pastry wheels, but I will persevere and get the hang of it.
I knew something was wrong the moment I picked it up and heard the wheel rattling like a cheap tin toy! Nevertheless, I gave it a go and was not surprised when the front fell off on first use. It's poorly designed and even more poorly made.
Paul Hollywood should be embarrassed to have his name on this junk and shame on him if he isn't.
