Jean le Carré's "Bricoleur, Couturier, Soldat, Espion"
19 February 2017
Excellent espionage procedural in the tradition of John le Carré. We are swept into the world of Malotru, a DGSE agent returning from Syria, with too many loose ends, a missing agent, and a new agent to train. Either by habit or training (or both) Malotru (played by Mathieu Kassovitz in Sphinx-like guise) is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. He engages against the Russians, the Algerians and Syrians while working with the Russians, the Algerians and Syrians. A series that requires your full attention if you are to have a chance of keeping up. The techniques of hacking, trapping and influencing each other are wonderfully detailed.
