If you’ve never used a liner in your slow cooker then order a pack of these and say goodbye to hours spent cleaning your bowl and cooker. We had a ‘do’ at the church which involved the use of 14 slow cookers. I provided each user with a liner (they had never heard of them, let alone used them( and they are all converts as all we had to do after the meal was to wash our Bowls for hygiene purposes because every cooker was clean. What had we cooked? 7 cookers were Beef & Ale and the other 7 were Chicken Casserole
I saw lots of people using these on a website thread so thought id give it a go. I've only got a 3.5 slow cooker but these would fit a 6 litre too. I tried using one to make a chocolate lava cake. Now last time I made this I was stuck at the sink for ages cleaning the pot out. Never again I thought but then tried these and so easy!! I just literally served it up, waited for it to cool down & threw the liner in the bin!! I've been using a slow cooker for years & have always thought them easy to clean, until I made the first cake in it, so I will definitely be using them a lot now.
I always had a strange metallic smell and taste when making dinners in the slow cooker, especially tomato based ones and just stopped using it until someone mentioned liners. These work great, no weird smells or tastes and you can just chuck the bag in the bin and don't have to worry about cleaning the slow cooker as it can be a pain as I'm not able to soak mine. Will definitely buy again.
Bought these liners after a recommendation. Life changers 😁 No more cleaning of my slow cooker, which at best was awkward. No more wondering where i was going to pour the (sometimes) fatty liquid once cold. No more filling a large space in my dishwasher with the heavy bowl. Just line the cooker with one of these and all excess juices can literally be picked up, secured by tying the bag ends together (like a rubbish bag) and then disposed of into the bin! Simple, easy to use
So, you think these great, what appear to be polythene bags, won't work - you'll probably split them on the first outing and finish up with the same mess you have become used to when using your slow cooker? So, so wrong! These are absolutely brilliant - do your usual meal in your slow cooker, dish up and throw away the bag! No mess and no washing up! (Obviously don't use knives or other metal utensils to stir / dish up - but then would you anyway in a slow cooker?)
Brilliant concept! Fits my crock pot with plenty of space.cooks food better as no nasty stuck on burnt bits.it is encouraging me to cook more with my crock pot.oh I wish I had found these much sooner!!!
The slow cooker bags are easy to use, work well and keep the appliance clean. I've used them in the past. Ironic seller name is Planit. Depending on how environmentally aware you are it's plastic bag vs washing up each time....
These are fantastic. I bought them for busy week nights when we’re rushing around taking the kids to various training sessions. They make the clean up so much easier. I have a big slow cooker but these could also be used in a smaller one if needed.
