I don’t normally write that many reviews but I thought this time I would. I’ve been choosing which headphones to get for the past 3 weeks and if I can save someone the pain of this then writing this is worth it! I’ve been choosing between the Powerbeats 3 , Beats X and the jay birds X3. I’m an iPhone user and the pairing of these really can’t be any simpler switch them on while you’re phone is unlocked a picture pops up,click connect and that’s it! Also because I have an iMac they are automatically paired to that and any other idevice you have . The quality is excellent they are really comfortable I use the tips that came fitted on it but you get 3 other sizes. I also use the larger wing tips and they are not coming out! I tried my wife’s Powerbeats and the only reason I would get these over the X’s is if your a big gym/runner. I tried them and as secure as they are the extra weight started to cause fatigue after a while. If you are just a normal/casual listener the beats x are the ones. The beats X do have a bit of base to them but also the highs and mids are also balanced well, whereas the Powerbeats were more bass overpowering. Also the X’s use a lightning cable to charge which is very convenient. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos and comments were saying how long the wires are, I feel they are exaggerating and you don’t even notice they are there. At the time of writing the price of them are £93 and well worth the money and highly recommend. I didn’t pick the Jaybirds because I read the connection could be intermittent and after using the Powerbeats that W1 chip cannot be beat! So yes I can highly recommended these especially if you’re an Apple user.
