Top critical review
Not bad ... not exceptional

Just as has been said on other reviews. These aren't bad. They do what they should which is power your controller, charge via USB relatively quickly and slot onto the docking station super super easily (unlike a lot of others) which is nice.
That said, the lights on the docking station are indeed brighter than 2 stars going supernova and the batteries are a bit tight fitting to the controllers, but nowhere near as bad as some I've come across.
For me however, although neither of these issues would make me give lower than a 4 star rating, there is a bigger problem. The biggest issue is the battery capacity. It says 18 hours on here but unless you aren't touching your controller there is NO WAY you're getting that lifespan. I checked with 2 other friends who have these and they have the exact same issue, 4-6 hours game time max.
This means sometimes I'm switching batteries between controllers twice a day. Also means if we have a 4 player day at someones place we have to have 6 to 8 controllers/batteries and 2 docking stations on the go or some spare Duracell's on hand.
I've owned mine for only a few months, the rechargeable batteries will only get worse meaning by their end of life I'll be getting what, 3 hours? And then I'll have to debate again, crap battery life or another manufacturer where the dock doesn't fit the controllers correctly.
