An enjoyable, gentle and believable read. Adam and Will first meet at an airport, unaware there was already a link between them due to their respective jobs. Both are quietly but openly gay with friends, family and work colleagues in the know, so there is little drama to be had there. It made a nice change to see them both act professionally at work and there were no lunchtime trysts across the office desk. So saying that there was a fair amount of hot sex, just not at work. There was a threat of blackmail too but thankfully the author chose to not go down that road, which I think would have spoilt the story if she had. We see these very likeable characters form a relationship and watch it develop and grow, without any major dramas. They both have their issues though, Adam is a workaholic and Will has to work out where his standing is in the relationship, much of which I think has to do with his parents, culture and upbringing. This isn't the usual clichéd angst ridden office romance, which is why I enjoyed it so much. Instead it is a thoughtful love story between two men who just happen to work in the same environment for a while. I will be looking for other books from this author as I enjoyed both the storyline and writing style.
Absolutely love this book - the characters are so well written, particularly Will who's lovely. The story was engaging and felt real - the author's style seemed relaxed and natural and I hope to read more.
