I loved this book, you root for Lawson and you can't help root for Lee and no book in this series would be complete without some sort of heart felt gesture. Be prepared for lots of laughs and Yoda who doesn't love Yoda? Lawson Briggs has always been the joker of the group but when he meets Langley Ford his world is about to be turned upside down. And not one to turn down a challenge he sets his sights on Langley. Langley Ford has had a tough life from her childhood through to her being the only female para jumper(pj), that is until she finds out that after taking a bullet she has been made an outcast. She has always known the other guys never really accepted her well apart from her best friend Lucas. But when she goes to work for Foster's security company she has finally found somewhere she belongs and throw in mandatory nights at momma K's she has to endure Lawson Briggs. But Langley doesn't do love or know what it is and she is thrown off kilter with the girls wanting all the details but will Langley be able to give her heart to the man who loves her and will fight for her?
I read and loved each book this series so far and I have been looking forward to Lawson's story. Lawson is a man who always makes everyone laugh, however has yet to find his happy after ever. however when Langley (Lee) joins the group, he sets about breaking her barriers down and getting to know her. Langley appear to be a tough women straight out the army but some of the issues still haunt her. Slowly as we see Lawson chip away Lee wall's she has built up, she even shows that she has a great sense of humor. At times we also got see a caring and alpha version of Lawson!!!
I loved the chemistry and banter between Lawson and Langley. Langley is such a strong women and I was willing her to let Lawson win her over throughout. The rest of the group also feature and it is always good to see more of this group. We also get to see more of Foster and Noelle and I so can't wait for their story. These books are real feel good stories and each one gets better and better. RC Boldt is defiantly a go to author for me.
Overall this was a great read that I would highly recommend.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.
I absolutely adore this fabulous group of friends and I've been looking forward to Lawson's story for a while and I have to say it definitely didn't disappoint. RC Boldt's writing style just has you falling for her characters and although each book is about a different couple I love the fact you can catch up on the comings and goings of previous characters.
Lawson Briggs is the clown of the group always there making everyone laugh but he has a heart of gold and would do anything for his family and friends but he's never found anyone that's made him feel the need to settle down like all his other friends then he meets Langley Ford.
Langley Ford is ex military, she was a pararescue jumper and has had to go above and beyond to prove her worth. She's never really had a family or friends but has found herself with both. If only she could learn to relax. have some fun and just maybe let those walls she has built around her heart fall is Lawson Brigg the one to help her do it?
This series just gets better with every book written and I'm looking forward to Foster's Story next.
I have been itching for Lawson’s story in the Teach Me series from the very first book, and when it was finally in my hands I found myself feeling nervous. Lawson has always been my favourite character; would RC Boldt do his amazing character right? I had such high expectations; could RC Boldt meet them?
Well the answer is YES! Yes, she met those expectations and even surpassed them.
I really feel as though RC Boldt followed where her characters took her. She not once strayed from what I expect of them all; especially Lawson!
Throughout the book we see another side to Lawson, a softer, sexier, more tender side; but throughout it all he never loses his fantastic sense of humour!
Laws of Attraction, I feel, is a more lighthearted story than the others in the Teach Me series. But I like that, I couldn’t imagine Lawson being involved in anything too dark.
An absolutely fantastic addition to the Teach Me series, I can’t wait to read the next (which I’m hoping will be Foster’s story! )
