Fixed my constipation, finally!

I have spent the last 15-20years constipated (sometimes 1 bowel movement/week) and tried every recommendation from more fibre, doctors laxatives, senekot, etc. After reading multiple online articles about potential magnesium deficiency in most of us, I decided to try these. I followed an online doctors (Dr.Hyman) recommended dosage of 600-1000mg per day, reducing/increasing depending on level of stool softness. Its worked and I slowly been able to reduce down to approx 400mg/day now after a couple of months. Never had constipation once and feel amazing. Wish I'd been given this advice by doctors years ago but just doesn't seem to be the done thing. It's also had the added improvement of better sleep, less cramping after tennis and my skin feels softer. Try it if you have any of these problems!
