I read the book two weeks ago and it has had a profound effect on me. I'm an emotional binger and my trigger food is crisps and salty snacks. I haven't had a single morsel of either in two weeks. That is unheard of for me. I'm not even craving them, it's incredible! Buoyed by this, I've now expanded my food plan to incorporate other triggers (grazing between meals, finishing leftovers, stuffing myself until I'm uncomfortable) and I have absolute faith it will work.
*Update* Nearly six weeks have passed and I still haven't had a single crisp, not even a crumb. Even more staggering is the fact that I simply don't want to eat them anymore. We have packs in the house for my daughter's lunchbox and I don't even give them a second glance. Consequently I'm now eating healthier all round and I'm starting to lose weight too.
