I did keep going until the end, but this is a really poor book.
The dialogue and characterisation are puerile. The plot is flimsy.
The identity of the evildoer becomes apparent about a third of the way through, and absolutely certain just after half way, but our hero and his expensively assembled team don't make the connection.
I had to read on to find out how the author would justify their stupidity - he doesn't.
