I'm fairly pleased with this set of speakers - my main priority was to get 5.1 surround without having wires trailing around the room, which is what I've achieved. The speakers look great and so far I've not experienced any issues at all. Setup was very straightforward, the rear speakers and sub woofer both paired with the centre speaker straight away. There's only one HDMI input, which isn't a massive problem because you can just plug the rest directly into the TV but it's something to keep in mind. Connectivity other than that is pretty good - Bluetooth with NFC pairing, optical in and 3.5mm in. ARC is supported so the speakers can turn off and on with your TV and the volume can be controlled with the TV remote. I made a few adjustments to the levels to suit my room - I found bass was a bit high and had to raise the rear volume slightly.
So why only 4 stars? Unfortunately for me the audio quality just isn't up to 5 stars. I bought these to replace a set of 2.1 Sony speakers which simulated 5.1 (poorly). Whilst I now get the effect of sounds coming from behind me, the clarity of the speakers isn't a match for the old Sony set. That's not to say it's bad - it's perfectly acceptable for films and games and I'd still recommend the speakers to most people, however I was a bit disappointed when I started playing music through them - an area where the 2.1 Sony's excelled.
So in conclusion if you're looking for a set of 5.1 speakers that allow you to avoid cluttering your walls or floors with wires, which look great and sound fairly decent then these are a great choice. Just don't expect stellar clarity.
