Although, at first, it seems a little thin and flimsy it is sturdy enough when on the ground. The first time we used it we left it in the rain overnight and the parts that had had the most contact wit heat were rusty. I cleaned it off and put it away and the next time, 4 months later, we got it out it had not rusted anymore. As long as you clean it and put it away dry it will be fine. I don't think it would last long if it lived outside. The legs lock in and out in a clever and pleasing manner which makes it super transportable. The bag it comes in is generous enough to get it back in easily, is made of nylon so should last a long time and handy handles to handle it with/ hand it in the shed, swing it around.
As a fire pit, its plenty big enough for four people to sit around. The cover is high enough to build a decent fire underneath and stops the ash and some smoke from flying everywhere so good for the garden and sits on the top securely. It has a grill for the bottom that you build your fire on and allows air to circulate and
it burns well.
As a BBQ, it's big enough to feed 4-6, gives a nice even cooking space if you fill it up enough, and the grill you put the food on seems to be non stick, cleaned up easily the next day and my burgers didn't stick to it despite Ben saying they would and would fall apart it sits o the screws that attach the legs so it stays in place, which I thought was clever design.
In conclusion, its a bargain as long as you look after it a bit and keep it in the bag.
