Using my account, my mum bought these boots for me as a birthday present on the 5th of February. We bought a size 5 (Which was actually accidental, because with boots I usually prefer a size up from my actual size; but it turned out the size 6 would've probably been too big anyway) and the date range expectancy for the product was from between the 9th and 13th of February.
The boots actually turned up on the 8th of February! 1 day before the item's minimum expected delivery date! The boots arrive in a pink/white gradient box with unattached lid that's 26 x 29 x 11 (all to the nearest cm) with silver text on 3 of the 4 sides that read "Koi Footwear" and "For the Love of Footwear", the back of the box has all the boots' details and then the lid has the "Koi" logo. The boots arrived folded up side by side in the box with a sheet of foam to protect them from any damage during being dispatched.
The boots themselves I was EXTREMELY happy with upon first sight! They looked in perfect condition, have amazing style and they have that new, clean shoe smell. Before I could try walking in them, I had to lace them again as the way they came would have been too loose around my ankles and calves. When I zipper them up, the boots themselves felt a little too tight around the bottom of my foot, and when I tried walking in them, the first thing I noticed is how my heel didn't feel exactly secure in the back and slipped about a lot (but that could very well be to do with how heavy the heels on the boots are, weighing themselves down).
Initially, I wasn't too sure about how they looked on, because my first impression was looking down at them and feeling like my feet looked tiny in them at the front. But I was pleasantly surprised when I looked in the mirror whilst wearing them to see that it was all just a matter of perspective; they looked fantastic on (And very goth-y, which is what I was hoping for)! Something I have to say though when comparing the picture on here to the actual boots themselves is (nothing negative), the picture doesn't do them justice. In person, they look like an extremely powerful pair of boots and the platform on them looks massive in comparison to the picture given (which is good for me personally: because I really dislike my height).
To finalize this review and wrap it up: While I do mention the small issues I have with the boots feeling tight around the bottom of my foot and my heel slipping about a lot whilst in them, I know that half of that I will probably get used to with wearing them and wearing myself into them; plus, it honestly doesn't make me want to give them any less than five stars, because they're perfect to me either way.
What more could you want from a pair of boots? Easily the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, the fit is perfect and they look fantastic as well, I've worn them pretty much everywhere, from work to evenings out to walking 20+ miles a day around the Pacific Northwest on holiday and they have never let down, just perfect.
