Put this up in the garden the other night to check that it was all there and to make sure I knew how it went up before I take it to Dartmoor. First impressions are really good. If your use to pitching tents, this will go up in under 5 minutes, without reffering to the instructions. Pegs are a little flimsy, but then again they are very light. The stitching in some parts seems a bit dodgy, but then again this isn't a £400 tent, so can forgive it. I've not used it in anger yet, but hope to do so next weekend. General size is about the same as a North Face Tadpole 2, so a nice single man or a cosy 2 man. Other point to note, the advertised weight is 1.8kg. Wanted to check so put this with its carry bag on the kitchen digital scales, and it was exactly 1.8kg. Happy at the moment, and time will tell how this performs, but for the money it looks like a cracking buy.
A cheap and almost perfect tent. Pros - very lightweight and packs small, great colour, will fit two people but best for a single with rucksack/gear, cheap Cons - be careful with the zips, amnost broke mine while in a hurry, not real free-standing - will stand but without pegging but stlll better have it pegged at the rear while putting it up, skirt is perfect fit so you need to center it right from the start or you will end with one side shorter than the other Overall - a decent tent at a reasonable price, I like it
