Fuel for your imagination.

I just finished the book and came here to write a review...
I found it inspiring and motivating. I do admit that it does not cover details but I also think that it would not be inspirational if it was because most details would not relate to my context. Having a general idea and a few simple examples was more than enough to engage imagination and think how I could implement this strategy.
I particularly liked chapters about being different, sharing your philosophy and putting the emphasis on remarkable delivery. Campaign driven enterprise was great to read but I was not able to draft the entire campaign in my head and will certainly need to speak to someone with a bit more experience - I think it will be easier for those who's businesses are already running and have got a fair understanding of their market behaviours.The part about the team building was more of a reminder of what roles need to be in place but yet again I see this as a general rule.
All in all I think it is an interesting piece of reading that is more of a guide that shows direction rather than giving you ready made solutions - and for that I really value this book a lot. It certainly highlighted elements that I have not yet considered - like timing of campaigns and "oversubscription" safety margins.
I think that if you like me at the moment are considering how to get your new product out there - it is a great food for thought.
