I've seen several episodes of his cooking show and love his attitude and style. These books are really disappointing and difficult to use. I have paged through the recipes over and over, and there are only a few that I really would like to try. Beef steak with red wine and snail sauce. Really? The fonts are way too small and in frilly italic making ingredients lists and recipes hard to read and follow. My husband teased me when I used a magnifying glass to read the light blue text on a dark blue background. Many pages have a lot of white space and the font size could have been increased considerably. The "fast" book has too many fish/seafood recipes compared to meat. Too many recipes require deep frying in oil. The photos are unattractive. I wanted to send the books back however it would cost more to ship from Switzerland than the credit. The dessert recipes look really good. However, that's not my main interest in buying the books. Hopefully, positive sweet results will justify the price that I paid.
