If not for wrongly manufactured supplied part ' would have been higher stars'

The cross trainer looks nice not too imposing in a room (Striding bars (big vertical uprights) can be removed too reduce height when in storage without much effort. The construction/installation of this machine can be fiddly at times (the tension cable attachment is best to be set at 8 when connecting up 'gives you a bit of slack in the cable - Its a magnet thing', when pulling the sensor cables through the internal main stem I would suggest feeding fishing line or string from above attach to your sensor cables before feeding the cables through the hole. Duration to build if everything is their and manufactured correctly around an hour. However it took me close to 2 weeks due to the supplied left hand thread crank bolt (item 55) being incorrectly manufactured and convincing customer services this was the likely case from first contact. However stay persistent even if you do feel like you are being treated like an idiot and accused of causing damage (using the manufactures supplied tools, fittings and directions?). eventually they decided to do what was originally asked supply a replacement bolt (55), which sailed in no problem (I've now dumped the wrongly supplied/manufactured bolt). and success finished constructing the cross trainer which is working out okay. So due to the manufacturing defect and made to feel like I didn't have a clue regarding a simple fault finding exercise (best burn my BEng). I've awarded 3 stars
PS. If your a UK size 12 shoe or above the sole plate on this machine will be too small for your feet
