The workout produced noticeable results. The commitment is five days per week (Monday to Friday) for eight weeks. Each workout is thirty minutes, which makes it easier to fit into a schedule than the original Insanity which reached close to an hour in the second phase.
Assorted variations of the plank, push-ups and lunges feature and Shaun T uses the term high impact so potential purchasers may wish to be aware of these elements. Each workout has a modified version which is less taxing.
A trailer for the original Insanity made a reference to working out in a pool of your own sweat. This has not changed.
After reading a lot of reviews on Shaun T's Insanity Max 30 I will agree with the reviews on here that this is one hell of a workout. Within the first month of doing this workout there is signs of weight loss and 6 pack forming so as long as you are dedicated and motivated and put the work in and eat sensible you should see results. These workouts are intense and you do Maxout way before the end. Even though these workouts roughly last 30 minutes you will need a good heart and a good pair of lungs as you will be put through your paces and you will be sweating loads too. It is nice to see the toned looking individuals in this workout DVD also Maxing out within the 30 minutes and they have the perfect body which we all want too achieve so this gives an idea on how tough this work out is. As the saying goes no pain no gain but you need to listen to what your body is telling you as like some reviews say on here it will kill you off. Shaun does make this enjoyable and he says no shame in maxing out as long as you record your time and next time you can try and go a bit further before maxing out again. A big Thank you to Shaun T for Inventing this Brutal and challenging workout as he is very motivating and inspiring. Are you ready to MAXOUT
Really intense workout for someone like myself who has never really done much exercise! I threw up halfway thought my first ever session lol. You can definately feel it working though, I've not had it long enough to see real results yet but I have no doubt in my mind this will work.
The sessions are pretty effective and Shaun does a good job of keeping you motivated through out which is something I've not come accross during other exercise videos so I would usually give up.
The pack itself is well made apart from the nutrion book which fell apart on me the second I start flicking through the pages!
I have to say this is one of the best physically demanding workouts on the market, several years after its release. I have done Insanity, T25 several times finding out that after completing them you have to keep your fitness to maintain your gains and toned body. (It really does work). Max30 takes it to another level; however if you can keep up with those training with Shaun T...well good luck but I didn't. I took the breaks that I needed to complete this workout several times, and even undertaking another full round, it still remains a serious challenge to complete it so pace yourself. Your fitness and max- out time will increase and you body will change. Of course it helps to eat well also to fuel the workouts. Do not take this workout lightly, it is tough, demanding but I have found that once you get past the first 2 weeks; you are on your way and it becomes more enjoyable. Get ready for month 2 because this will test you literally to the MAX!!!. Its tough, you get even more sweaty, may even need further breaks but Shaun T will tell you, "I am not here to hurt you, just make you better". In all an immense workout that stands the test of time. Well time to do another round. Peace out.. oops sorry MAX OUT!!
What a fantastic workout!! 30 mins a day out of your life- extremely hard and requires commitment, but the results are worth it!! Well worth the money and would recommend to all levels of fitness due to the modifier.
Love this. Have done t25, p90x3 and body beast previously. This is most like t25 I suppose. But this has water breaks, and it's a good job coz every workout is a killer. I found I could get all the way through 2 workouts without"maxing out" in the first month, but the rest best me every time. The idea is of course that you push yourself harder for longer every time, so you ate in competition with yourself, which is perfect for my mindset when working out, but my wife says that would not work for her. I guess everyone responds differently to different exercises. Great value for money. Would recommends.
Im just gona say 3 words....Best Workout Ever!!!! You don't even realize how much your body is going for it but once you start see the results...trust me, you will never want to stop push play on these workout programs! And Shaun T is THE best motivator he really gets you into it! I love it and I recommend 100% to everyone who needs to lose weitght and wants to look lean and strong! You won't regret the money spent!
