Similar to Talens Ecoline for use with children, lovely product and great fun but go for Ecoline.

I recently purchased Talens Ecoline to use with my children (age 2 and 6) as well as personal professional use. We had lots of fun using Ecoline over crayon pictures to see what happens, and blew Ecoline over some paper with a drinking straw to create splash effect. Afterwards the Ecoline was easy enough to clean off using water, kitchen towel and baby wipes. It washed off the childrens clothes at 40C. However it stained our hands and didn't wash off our skin for about two days. So I decided to try this product instead to see if it would be any better. It wasn't, and it is a very similar product to use (not knowing what the ingredients are etc it seems like for like to me). It also wiped off easily but stained our hands too for 2 days. On the whole I prefer Ecoline. I remember using Ecoline as a child at school. The colours are more vibrant. It is cheaper (the ColorSplash bottles are very small!) and more versatile as you can dip your brush or pen into the Ecoline as well. Ecoline is also better for colour mixing exercises especially if you stick to just magenta pink, cyan blue and yellow. The main advantage of Colorsplash is that it is easier for the children to use the bottles. It is hard to spill the ink as it gives an exact largeish drop each time you squeeze it. My 6 year old loved doing this, as opposed to mum pouring Ecoline onto an artist pallet out of the glass bottle (and spilling some in the process). Both products aren't colour fast and so need to be stored in the dark (this also applies to the pictures you make with them). I have read that ColorSplash is also great for other children's activities, such as colouring rice and homemade playdough but I haven't get tried this for myself and I would imagine Ecoline can be used in the same way. All in all I prefer Ecoline because of the price and more vibrant colours and the fact that individual colours are available in the UK to add on later.
