A bit like lukewarm water
on 20 July 2009
Run-of-the-mill thriller, rather derivative but an enjoyable enough mindless page-turner to read on the train to work or on the beach - provided you don't mind the cliches, obvious plot devices and two-dimensional characterisation.
If you like Thomas Harris, Patricia Cornwell, John Le Carre etc, you will probably find this rather weak and unchallenging, but vaguely pleasant - a bit like lukewarm water.
