despite the fact that amazon have the mp3s mixed up this is a great cd release which is not a reason to 1 star this release

This is an amazing rare Lee Perry album with bonus tracks that Hot Milk have released.

Anyone who is a fan of Lee Perry particularly his early stuff should definitely buy this CD, think of the dreamland album and the two Wailer's albums with just a rhythm tracks and you have a bit of an idea of what this album is like

If you are a diehard fan of Perry, this is good to have in your collection. If you want to get a taste of his best work, then it would be best to start elsewhere. As with other Hot Milk releases, there are great sleeve notes and the story behind this album is interesting. There are some good tracks on this album but others fall well below par. As mentioned by another reviewer, the final track cuts off before the end.

I own an original pressing from around 1970 but has wear and tear. So was glad to find that the record had been repressed. Only for the die-hards but with some highly interesting tracks.

5 star album. Impossible to find until now the Jamaican edition of The good, the bad & the Upsetters is at last available. If only the last couple of seconds of the last track hadn't been cut.
Anyway, 5 star CD

Fantastic, experimental reggae at it's finest from the producer that invented it. Terrific pre dub mixes from the legendary "Scratch" Lee Perry.

I used to have the LP of this album and they are both good, only one thing better than the 33rpm album is the cd, well, you can take it anywhere if you have a portable cd player. FANTASTIC!
