What's going on in Iceland? How could anyone think combining classical clarinets, electronics and voice would achieve anything? Plus no-compromise singing in Icelandic without English translation? It's almost as if Samaris were deliberately trying to fail commercially. If that was the aim they haven't succeeded as plaudits have deservedly come their way. The vocals simply become another instrument and the whole thing is mysterious and otherworldly. Fantastic stuff and well worth a listen.

This is a really good album. It is slightly generic, with familiar dub/trance elements. However these are combined with icelandic vocals and clarinet in a unique way. It is well produced. i have listened to it multiple times since purchase.
I recommend this album.

I wasn't sure they could do it a second time, but they did. It's perfect. Definitely on a par with their self-titled album.

I love this album; it's been constantly played since it arrived. Echoes of Bjork, Cocteau Twins and Throwing Muses
