One of the worst Business textbooks that I have seen in 40 years of Business and Teaching! Full of errors, mistakes, superficiality. This is far too great a subject to be covered effectively in one publication, and the authors (none of whom has an iota of experience in International Business) litter the text with basic misunderstandings of how international business actually works in practice. The Instructors Powerpoint slides are poor and faithfully reproduce all that is wrong in how to do Powerpoint - loads of bullet points, minimal graphics, unacknowledged sources.
Worked pretty well for me, had all the key concepts I needed to get through my international business module at uni and plenty to apply to other modules. Not the most fun book in the world but it served its purpose.
If no star was possible, it'd be how deserving this trash book is. I tried to look for the academic outputs by Sonal Minocha and what academic skills she has that in only 5 years moved from post to post to the current post of pro vice chancellor at bournemouth hopping from head to associate dean and more upwards titles and prizes that no one has a clue what she has done to distinguish herself while real academics with publications are made redundant. The bedfordshire uni went down in ranks to the bottom of the league while she was there posing in asian sequined outfits and deep rouge on her lips pretending to implement some management formulas of restructuring such as similar to bingo games! This woman is a fraud and an impostor! Not even 40 of age, claimbing a greasy pole that academia had become, earning 6 figure salary and no outputs to her name. A garbage crook with no shame, my heart bleeds to see what the world turned into!
