Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Best book I've ever read. If you were a 90's girl like me all's the better tho I would recommend to anyone as a binge read. Keep em coming Caitlin!

This book is so well written and hilarious. I would highly recommend, especially for those who love a bit of British music history.

Loved this book. Definite similarities to how to be a woman. Lots of laugh out loud parts but also very poignant at times.

This is apparently not am auto biography but Caitlin Moran must have drawn alot on her personal experiences to make this story (thee are a lot of similarities to her actual auto biography /feminist manifesto "How to be a Woman"). This story still manages to be a laugh out loud "coming of age" story, with lots of 80's/ 90's music references. A nice light hearted read

Probably fine if you are 14 and mad about pop music but a severe editing would have improved it. I love Caitlin Moran so this was disappointing

Really disappointed in this. I thought it was a young adult book so I originally bought this for my 14 year old...but I started to read it and there's no way she'd want to read this drivel.
I hate not finishing books so I was determined to finish it,,,,but I really wish I hadn't bothered!!
I usually read a book fast...whereas this one took a while as it was such a pointless book

There's no real story other than a teenager who stops going to school and becomes miraculously a writer about bands and she starts sleeping her way through bands.
