This is a well written and compact paperback which breathes compassion and reality. It describes many genuine problems and with great wisdom and insight gently opens the door to some answers. It is neither sentimental nor academic but it is full of deep wisdom and common sense allied to faith. I think that all Christian parents would benefit from reading this book because so many traumas have their roots in childhood experiences. Even many who do not share the Christian faith would benefit from reading "what happened"..and I thoroughly recommend it
We all wear masks to a greater or lesser degree. This book shows us how to take them off. It is full of compassion, and sensible, never preachy, advice. I read it and it helped me a lot, so maybe it could help you....but only if you read it with an open mind.
