Compared to Tina Fey, Amy Poeler, Mindy Kaling... this book is weak and didn't make me love Lena Dunham. Rather me rolling my eyes at her. Sorry!

Even if you hate lena dunham you'll love this book. A very good read for any modern day woman.

The signed copy shows no indication that it was signed by the author. There were no details as to where the copy came from or when it was signed. The signature is illegible and looked as though it was more of a cut off of a larger signature as it was glued to the first page on a card.

I expected big things given the hype surrounding the book and while I have to say that I love Lena's writing style, I found the book disjointed and frankly quite boring in parts. I wanted more laughs! Similarly her privileged left wing 'feminist' background somewhat irritates me!

I bought this after wanting a light easy commute read. I had heard a lot of mixed reviews about this book & about Lena, but after watching a couple of series of Girls I decided to give this book a go. I enjoyed this book as it was more of a series of short stories rather than an autobiography - which is what i feared. If you want a light read then I would recommend this book.

I bought this after starting Girls Season 1. I was enjoying Girls, so I thought I'd give this book ago. I have had to give up. I think it is meant to be wry, sad, interesting and thought-provoking. Instead it is boring. Really really boring.

There’s nothing miraculous in these reflections of sexuality, tales of growing up, and other random info . . . but it’s a quick, easy, and engaging read. Would recommend to the right person maybe, but would not read again.

Interesting in places, but ultimately a tale of navel gazing privilege told from the perspective of a therapy-soaked wunderkind who claims to be coming at life from the position of underdog but has clearly rarely ever been told no in her entire life.
