Bernard Carson is the proud father of six wonderfully boys. Cowboys at that. He lost his wife and only daughter some time ago and feels his home his heart and by no means least his sons need a woman's touch. This man married late in life and does not want the same for his boys so he enlists the help of one of them Anders to set up a dating pro-life for the oldest. It's crazily funny and sets the scene for Casey to fend off his bride to be by being obnoxious towards her. Thrills and spills ensue when he suddenly realises he is failing miserably. Next Carey is on the herd drive when one of the paying guests needs help in an unfamiliar environment. She appears lost and out her depth until she finds herself in very a familiar situation then she shines like a neon light Joseph has a serious fall and does not seem to be getting better. Is it psychological or is something more serious. Support from an unlikely source sees him through. Twists and turns races and chases. It's not a dull storyline. These Carson guys might be cowboys but they teach your about family, tradition ,heritage ,culture ,hope ,faith and trust. Beautifully told series could not put it down.

An enjoyable storyline of life on a ranch. A windowed father is left with 6 sons to rear. After 10 years he decides to find wives for his eldest sons who are one set of twins. The ranch is isolated, so no social life other than that of the cowboy crews that work the range.... No women..... This is where the fun begins....
Bk 1 follows the eldest of the twins Casey, and his reaction to his fathers interference. Really enjoyed this read.
Bk 2 follows the second son Carey, the other half of the twin set. Another good read, but for me, a few loose ends.
Bk 3 this is son No. 3, Joseph. This poor lad has a real rough time, which started off at the end of bk 2. There are quite a few spelling mistakes, missing words which is a shame, because this author writes detailed, clean romantic novels. I would give each of these novels 4 stars. I have already ordered the next boxed set 4 - 6, so look forwards to reading those.

Three good stories. The family is made up of six sons and their doting father - the mother passed away through childbirth.

They get through various trials of life including threat to lives, damage to their farm due to tornado's, crime so a mixture of events.

The stories are well written, varied between each book and interesting.

I have the collection 4 - 6 which are also as good.
