A brilliant follow up to the much loved Safe Harbor. Reese and Tory are an established couple, which can so often put a lull in the proceedings of a sexy romance. Not so with Radclyffe who effortlessly guides us through a sequel which totally stands up to the challenge of being as erotic and interesting as it's predecessor. It also stands the test of a stand alone read. It's passionate with lots of action and enough central characters to make the whole Provincetown community backdrop come alive most believeably. Totally recommended.

From the first bookSafe Harbor: Provincetown Tales Series, Book 1 this is the second book.
The story picks up four years later from the fist book. Reese and Tory are together and very much in love, all is calm. This a quite a long book and alot if it is SEX. Not that I'll complain too much(g). Tory feeling her maternal clock ticking tells Reese she wants a baby. This happens very early on and Reese loves the idea and not even a third into the book Tory gets pregnant(How you ask). Of course the pregnancy is filled with up and downs certainly the end of the pregancy. Tory although pregnant still carry on with the long working hours at the surgery. Reese wanting her to take it easy helps with a certain rescue that puts her own life in danger. And while their at the hospital Tory runs into her former lover.
Reese and Tory also share the book with two other characters. Bri and Carr, who we met in book one. Now both at college, Bri is struggling because she wants to leave and go back home and join the police force like her dad and Reese. (who she looks up to, Reese is eveyting Bri wants to be.)
And she dosen't want to leave Carr but she knows Carr who loves college and is there to make her dream of being an artist become true,so with a heavy heart and Carr heartbroken and biwilldard she returns home to join the police academy. Alot of the book deals with their struggles. Bri although happy to be home desperatly misses her girlfriend.
And while at the police academy she meets a fellow cadet Allie, who takes a shine to Bri. And one fateful night kisses her. The same night Carr comes back home.

On to book threeDistant Shores, Silent Thunder

If you read as I do and go throught lots of Lesbian writers you will come across one's where you have to read every book they have written. Radclyffe is one of them. Her books have great storys and characters you just wish you could meet for real down the women only nights. The best thing is that not only does she write just one book but one you finde the series you know you have another few book as to enjoy the characters. I have read lots of Radclyffe books and if you want something to take you away for a few hours read this.

Radclyffe is relatively new to me but I am so glad there are more books in this series. I could not put this or the one before down. This author really can tell a story. No boring bits, a great read. Ange

I found the first book in this series on Atheneum fan fiction and loved it. I was happy to continue the series by purchasing as the quality of the author was established in that first book. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Loved the references to actual places and locations in the cape. I would recommend this to my girlfriend. I would have liked it to have gone further into the characters and their everyday lives as well as the dramatic stories.
