This novella is part of the MacKenzie series (this also is connected to Cooper MacKenzie as Lane Greyson is one of his deputies.)

Meet the every lovely Bounty Hunter Naya Blade. Naya never thought she would ever step foot back in Surrender, Montana again. Especially since there was a warrant out for her arrest or is the warrant now not active. When Naya's skip ends up in the normally peaceful town of Surrender, Naya has no other choice but to go after him and claim her reward. Even Naya knows that the cost of running into the only cop that makes her blood run hot, and her sense of self-preservation run freezing cold.

Meet Deputy Lane Greyson. Lane wants to see Naya in handcuffs for avaiding her warrant. Lane would much prefer the handcuffs attached to his bed instead of in the cold jail cell. Naya drove Lane crazy once. Then Naya drove right out of town, leaving such havoc in her wake. Lane's determined to help her hunt down her skip. Lane wants to claim his own bounty — Naya.

Can Naya and Lane work together to get the bad guy? Can Lane and Naya have their happy ever after?

Liliana Hart's books are so amazing, i love it how she writes 5* books

I have never made a secret of my love for the MacKenzies. What may have started off as a small family series has grown into a phenomenon and yet again, she does not disappoint. These men - even those who are adopted into the family by osmosis or association seem to be hot and desirous and loyal and lustful...why did I never cross paths with the likes of them???
A pleasant interlude while waiting for the next novel and definitely a fabulous addition to the 1001 Dark Nights series.

Naya is a bounty hunter and she has come back to the small town of surrender chasing a criminal, she left the town a year ago but hasnt forgotten the time she spent with lane greyson the towns deputy, and he hasnt forgotten her because as soon as she is back in town he is there arresting her because of the trouble she left behind last time she was there.

This novella is really good, the characters are great and 3 dimensional its the first story ive read from this author and ill definitely be reading more. There is hot romance and a decent plot which is what i like from my authors, the story sucks you in from the very first page and keeps you interested all the way through to the end and leaves you wanting more.

very good read, interesting story of lane and naya. appearances by cooper and other town members so you still get a bit of the mackenzies and ongoing town life, this could be read as a stand alone but I read it as part of the series. either way its worth reading and although not a long book it isn't short either so you don't feel cheated out of any of the actual story

I so in love with the Mackenzie's. The whole area of surrender inspires peace and tranquility and the feel of family but the Mackenzie clan sure know how to rock it. This instalment of naya and lane is smoking hot.never realised the possibilities of a pair of handcuffs before but damn the vulnerability of lane and naya makes sure the passion is tempered with sorrow and that's why its so much more sweeter when they get it on. Short story but succinct and to the point. Loved loved loved it.

Only 3 stars I am afraid.... not nearly as good as her bother books in this series.... and Greyson isn't really a MacKenzie, although one of the MacKenzie brothers does pop up from time to time. I liked the two main characters, but found the storyline lacking.... What could have been a real dangerous storyline lacked the potential, and it fizzled out, which left me feeling deprived and the suspended. But at least the Deputy got his girl......

Another great book from liliana.I love the way she lets us know what is happening to other characters from the Mackenzie families. Can't wait for the next book(Crave) which is out in May.We may find out what is happening to Shane.I don't think I could wait any longer to read the outcome of his story. Big red(Kingston upon Hull England).

well if you have read any of the Mackenzie family books you will love this story, lilana has taken us back to surrender to meet up with lane and naya, this is a hot read from the start but a great short story from lilana hart, this book can be read away fromt eh other great Mackenzie men, but match right in with them. you will love naya and lanes explosive relationship from the start.

Loved it, as I do all things Mackenzie, but my was it short and very shallow. I know it's meant to be a quick fix, but a little too simple for me. Summarised as Naya a bounty hunter comes back to town chasing a fugitive, hooks up immediatley with Lane where she left off a year ago, big storm, hint at tragic past, finds fugitive she was following, stays with Lane, HEA. The sex as always is written really well, but with so little time for any build up or suspense it lacked Lillianna's usual impact.
