I'm not sure I really get this book. It seems less of an expose of the fourth wave and more of a collection of stories and anecdotes of what is happening in the world of feminism. Maybe that's what it meant to be, but I found it a rather shallow read of an important subject.

Really good read for any budding feminist with strong opinions and slightly less knowledge to back them up. I listened to this book via audible first and found it really inspiring as well as blood boilingly infuriating due to the content (which is a good thing!)

A quick read which summed up nicely the different waves of feminism. Would recommend - especially if you don't know much already about the feminist movements. Doesn't go into that much detail (more of an overview) but certainly a great intro!

This is a brilliant book that every woman should read. It looks at the status of women and how women have fought for their rights since the days of the suffragettes. It also shows how the media has been used to put women in their place objectifying them and ridiculing those fighting for their rights. It demonstrates how women are continuing to fight for a fairer world.

Felt very much like reading an essay, with lots of facts and statistics; this is not necessarily a bad thing. It was very informative and eye opening, providing shocking pieces of information I didn't previously know. A good introduction to feminism and provides a decent background to it regarding its history.

This book acts as a great introduction to feminism in a modern age and builds the foundations for the reader to move on and explore the issues raised in the book further if they wish.

what a revelation, this was an eye opening book into the world of feminism and women's liberation - the real world! I would strongly suggest this book for everyone, especially given how clear and readable the authors writing style is.

A great book to give u the thirst for more information on feminism and feminist issues. I never thought I was a feminist and now I realise I have always been one at heart. Thirsty for more!

This is a really important book. Informative for those who want to know more about the feminism movements and for those who already know a thing or two about feminism. It is highly informative, well structured and fact based.

This is a brilliant, concise summary of current movements in feminism. Cochrane does well to represent various voices and arguments in a coherent and engaging way with only very occasional moments of her own opinions. I would definitely recommend this.
