If you like the works of John Tavener, how could you not like this? By his own admission, this is one of Tavener's best works and it is fitting that it should have been re-released to commemorate his recent death. The Sixteen, under the direction of Harry Christophers is, as usual, superb and with a total playing time of over an hour, this CD is extremely good value for money.
