This is a superbly crafted album. Lyrically and musically impressive dealing with a subject that rarely recieves such thought provoking penmanship. This would have been a massive album had it arrived in the early 70s. Create an hour without interruptions and give this a listen from beginning to end. The recurring musical and lyrical themes create intersting crescendos and lulls. Thanks guys - this was an aural pleasure. The Sick to Death EP also achieves the high standard (and continues the same theme) set by Rain. I hope that Freedom to Glide go on to have a long and successful career. I will be listening.
This is a seriously impressive album, featuring glorious musicianship and meaningful lyrics, the whole package superbly produced...it really is a hell of a treat for your ears. For a debut album, made without big record label backing well...it's a masterpiece. If your tastes include the likes of Pink Floyd (they had to be mentioned; these guys are the backbone of a major Floyd tribute band) then do yourself a favour and buy a copy. No. Buy 2 - and give one to someone you care about. It's that brilliant.
