Sounds better on print.
on 28 February 2014
I originally purchased the Samsung galaxy tab 3 8.0 over this, but after obtaining an lg g2 phone and realised how wonderful it was decided I would return the low resolution display tab 3 and purchase the lg pad instead due to the fantastic sounding specs
plus it would be the bigger brother to my lg phone.
My personal opinion of this is that its a lovely tablet the specs are fantastic as far as tablets this size and price go.
The screen is sharp and vibrant and can't fault much else.
However my personal let down with this tab!let is the sound from the speakers. Its absolutely awful. I thought stereo speakers would be every reason to give decent sound quality. The sound is muffled and not very clear, even on high volume it still sounds as though the speakers are being covered with a cloth or something.and sounds extremely cheap. Its a big let down as I really love this tablet apart from the speakers. I'm wondering if mine is faulty as I've only seen one other review saying the same thing about speaker sound quality.
I will keep this for a short while to see if my ears will adjust, failing that I will be returning it back to Amazon.
I purchased a leather case cover for this and I've since found that if I bend the screen cover section right back so its in position on the back then the speakers sound much better, due to the cover reflecting the sound back towards person watching screen as opposed to the sound being directed away. Bizarre!!
