Valuable addition to the library of any enthusiast of WW2 aviation history. Well researched and illustrated. Useful for modellers also.

Having purchased every 2nd World War Osprey Aces title since they first appeared in 1994, I have to, reluctantly, say that I think this series seems to be coming to the end of it's natural life. Aces of JG3 more feels like a rehash of so many books I've read before & the aircraft profiles - usually the highlight of the series - are looking very tired and indeed some like the Dora 9 just don't look right. Compared to what is now on offer from France & the ex USSR states it's pretty poor fare. Time to get you act together Osprey.
