Sent to me for review, this is a very good travel money belt.

The best way to show you what it is like and its features is via a video, so I have made a video review. If you do not enlarge the video to full screen, it sometimes plays with sound but no video (a blank, black screen) - this seems to be an Amazon glitch. To cure it, press the 'full screen' icon.

If you are reading this on a mobile phone, you may be unable to view the video - you will be able to watch it on a computer or tablet.

Used this belt every day during recent 2week holiday in Malaysia and found it to be very comfortable, particularly because material at back stops sweating and chafing. I am a 42inch waist and belt fitted me but was at its maximum length. Three zipped pockets are very useful for storing notes , change and credit/ Hotel key cards. Would recommend and would have given 5 stars except that on long pocket extreme care has to be taken when closing or the zip may not engage all the teeth thus leaving gap. This said I am happy with my purchase and would use seller again

TOP 500 REVIEWERon 28 February 2015
This is a nicely designed money belt. It is significantly larger than the average bumbag but is very flat. This shape is designed so that it sits close to the bady, ideal if you want to conceal it under clothing.

My initial thoughts on opening the package was that the strap would not be long enough to go round my larger than average waist. Luckily there is a significant amount of adjustment coupled with elastic which ensures that this will fit around the largest of frames. The strap fastens at one side of the belt close to the front making it easy to access so that there is no fumbling behind your back. The belt is a neutral pale grey colour which does not show through thin shirts - all part of keeping it concealed. The back of the belt has a layer of wickable mesh that prevents the belt getting sweaty which is a great addition as the flat design means the belt covers quite a large area.

At the front of the belt are 3 pockets. The smallest one is closed with velcro and is ideally suited for carrying money. There is a second slightly larger but still small pocket which is just about big enough to hold a passport and is closed by a zipper. The third pocket is also zippered, but this one is the full width of the belt (at least 10" long) and is big enough for the largest of mobile phones and a whole lot more. Finally, there is a concealed pocket on the back of the belt between the mesh backing and the main pouch. This is accessed through a small opening in one corner making its uses limited, though it could easily take some extra folding money.

Overall this is a well made and discreet money belt that is very comfortable to wear.

Money belts are a fact of wheelchair life. Bags that strap to a wheelchair are vulnerable, cumbersome and annoying and handbags are pretty impractical as they slip and drop regularly. When I look at a money belt, I'm looking at it with a view to using it instead of a handbag without looking like the idiot with the bum-bag. This belt from Raqpak is ideal for use in a wheelchair. It fastens at the very edge of the belt so that the clip is never lost or digging into you where you can't get to it. The back of the pouch is made of soft mesh fabric, kind to even the most sensitive skin, and has a hidden pocket in it. I immediately used this to put an extra layer of cloth in to absorb sweat. This has made an incredible amount of difference to the comfort of this pouch in long term use.

The standard generous large main pocket in the water resistant pouch is big enough for passport and cards, and does actually take my phone in its leather cover. This makes it as bulky and heavy as I would really want to risk, but it does hide my phone and keep it secure even during wheelchair transfers which are the point where I usually drop anything that isn't attached to me. The two smaller pockets are also practical, one for valuables and the coin one will also take a small meds tin. 10 ml bottles also fit in here perfectly, as does lip salve. Paperwork is safe in the smaller one, protected from sweat by at least two layers of water resistant material. No more soggy notes or switch cards.

The belt is elasticated and adjustable meaning that you can slide it to an exact fit so that it stays where you put it. It sits as happily over the hip as it does round the waist and doesn't fold and roll when sitting with it for long periods. The clasp is secure and didn't come undone during a full day of wheelchair use including two transfers and a medical examination. Highly recommended.

I was provided with a sample product to review by the product distributor, and only took the product on the stipulation that my review would be honest and unbiased.

This Unisex Travel Money Belt from Raqpaq is both well designed and made. The belt is made from a neutral beige, water resistant, nylon with a mesh backing where it is in contact with your body. The "out of the packet" impression is of a good quality product which fits discreetly under your clothing whilst being easy to access.

The belt attaches to your body via an ultra comfortable, elasticated strap which has a wide range of adjustment so will fit nearly everyone. What makes the strap easy to do up and release is that it fastens at the front of the belt via a secure but quick release buckle. In use, I found the strap didn't chafe or slip and remained comfortable all day. The rear of the belt is also geared to comfort and I found the fine mesh covering avoids chafing and making you sweaty, plus, it helps the belt stay in place.

A clever feature is that there's an additional concealed pocket that can only be accessed from the rear of the belt - one advantage of this is that even if a thief discovered the belt they would probably only rifle the front pockets and miss this rear concealed one. Around the front there are three pockets - a full length zippered pocket which is ideal for passport sized items plus a smaller zippered pocket just right for notes and further bellowed pocket with a Velcro closure Well suited to coins etc. All the zips have generous tabs to making opening and closing them easy even in the cold.

I've used quite a few money belts in the past and this Raqpaq version is one of the best because of its comfort and clever design which includes an additional concealed pocket at the rear. It's also well made and Raqpaq offer a lifetime warranty if you register your purchase within 14 days. Recommended.

I bought this prior to going on holiday thinking it would be useful for holding some Euros. It's very flimsily made and the zip came off after two days. With hindsight I should of paid out a little more for a better quality belt, live and learn.

I received this in beige rather than black - although as it's designed to be worn under existing clothing then the colour doesn't really matter. Also, beige is less likely to be visible under lighter-coloured clothing than black.

I've never really used a money belt before, but one major advantage I notice immediately is that I knew where everything was - no checking half a dozen different jacket and trouser pockets to remember which one I put my passport/boarding pass/money in. With a memory as bad as mine, that's a big plus. It has plenty of storage without being too bulky, and felt comfortable under a loose-fitting top; the mesh backing ensures it doesn't get too clammy against skin, and the strap is very easy to adjust.

All told, this is a great price for something that will give you peace of mind and security while travelling.

I used this product on a recent trip to India. It did the job but did start to fall apart by the end of the trip (the inner lining came away completely, but it was still able to zip and be secured so not too much of an issue). If you're looking for an extremely sturdy product that will last you many years, maybe not the best one, but if you're looking for something to do the job then go for it!

This is a nifty idea that is suitable for both men and women.

Having been a victim of mugging whilst abroad i had gotten to tucking phones and money in my bra when abroad but thats not exactly safe.

This is so comfortable, it has a lovely soft back and a fully adjustable elasticated waist belt.

It has 1 long zip pocket which will hold a passport, tickets, boarding passes, paper notes, travellers cheques, and a phone. A small zipped pocket for keys etc and a small flapped pocket i use for lip balm and chewing gum.

Other reviewers have mentioned a hidden rear pocket, to call it a pocket is a bit of a stretch, it is a small diagonal opening on the back that you can get 2/3 fingers in and thats it. Not sure what use it is.

Overall i think this offers very good value for money and i would highly recommend it.
