Breakneck speed from start till the end, full of thrashing riffs and pounding drums with a overshadowing of bleak blackened Thrash tones... This is Thrash played rough and raw and repeated listens haven't been a chore.
Recommend for those who like their thrash a bit more evil sounding and a bit more pounding.
This is definitely one heavy album, a no nonsense Thrash/Death slice of straightforward mayhem....... LOTD bring this type of thunder to all of their albums and on this occasion it is no different, Brilliant - sometimes you just want to listen to something heavy and this fills your heavy...whatever to the full. To those who don't already know LOTD are a non melodic Thrash Band showing Death and Black Metal influences, they specialise in intense and fast riff picking (intro aside) and if you like your Thrash at the opposite end of Metal Church or Artillery then this is just perfect. Don't be expecting anything new, the album chooses a path well tread by LOTD and doesn't break any new ground........I don't care, I never break any new ground either.........and at least I know where to go when I need a refill of big bruising riffery, frenetic soloing covered in semi death barks
