This review is based on seeing the story after purchasing it on iTunes. If anything, the DVD release will be even better, with VidFIREd visuals and possible extra features.

Even so, this newly recovered story is an instant classic in my opinion. It stands out from the other season five "base under siege" stories and, indeed, is faily unique as a Doctor Who story, seeming more like a James Bond adventure, to wheel out the old cliche.

The cast are all on top form, regular and guest. It's such a joy to see more moving images of Patrick Troughton (and in two roles), and I've no doubt he'll be going up in lots of people's reckoning after the discovery of this and The Web of Fear.

The plot is great and rarely drags, which is not something you can always say about six part stories! A pleasure to watch.

This is a great DVD for Dr Who fans. I was particularly interested to review Patrick Troughton's and Fraser Hines' contribution to early entertainment broadcasting.

I love watching the old Doctor Who Stories, especially the ones that I havn't seen before, far better stories than the new series that is on the television.
