I purchased this case for the new SM-P600 Samsung Note 3. First off the case comes well packaged and even on first touch you can tell this is a good quality product.. The external back case is a hard shell that adds about 2 mm to width on all sides, this still makes the tablet smaller than my previous Tab 10.1. It has a slight pattern on the rear which may aid grip. The front flap is a 3-fold flap that also acts as a stand that seems to be most common nowadays but works and the tablet stands upright without any risk of falling. The inside of the flap is lined with microfiber to give a soft inside to help protect the screen. In addition the microfiber is also in the inside of the rear calm-shell, which also protects the rear of the tablet, maybe not so common but a welcome addition. Fitting the tablet is just a case of sliding into place and feels firm and solid. The magnet feels strong and activates the tablets notepad function on opening. All openings are exactly where required and good access to the pen is also given. In all a worthy case for your new tablet. My one gripe is anything is the lack of a plastic film on the metal catch/magnet on delivery which lead to a couple of small scratches on mine. Maybe l feedback to the manufacturers can solve this one, but this does not detract from the excellence this case provides.

The cover is quick to fit, but doesn't seem to have any real leather on it - but what can you expect for the price. The main issue is that when attempting to put the tablet at a slight angle for nornal desktop work the cover slips down flat after several touches on the screen. Unfortunately there aren't any slots to locate the raised edge (difficult to describe, but annoying). We spend most of the time lying the tablet flat on the table or desk in order to type emails etc. In the more upright position as illustrated in the advert photo the cover works well, especially for viewing TV and movies etc. This upright position isnt much use for interactive modes of operation. Generally a good protective cover and that's what we really wanted.

as opposed to some other viewers' experience the screen cover flap isn't held in place well enough by the magnet clip if I place the tablet into my soft messenger bag. This is basically because the bottom shell case only encloses three sides completely; the fourth side (the bottom length of the tablet where the charger slot is) is open (no side frame) between the corners and has the cover attached to this gap. This causes a lot of movement of the cover flap which the magnet can't completely fixate. Thus the screen constantly switches itself on which of course drains the battery. If you have a hard bag, where the tablet doesn't move, this case will be fine. My case does not have an elasticated band as another reviewer mentioned to keep the cover fixated.

I also wished it had more viewing angles, than the one shown on the photo. You can place it lower by carefully balancing the cover flap against the back of the tablet but only on solid ground. Also if I completely fold the cover over eg for reading, the magnet of the clip interferes with the operation of the tablet, switching it off occasionally. After all, I've given it 3 stars because the shell does offer good protection against falls etc but after using it for more than four weeks I am more annoyed with it than happy.

It may not put the tablet into sleep mode when flipped back like the IVSO Slim Smart Cover Case, but it has put mine into vibration only mode a few times.
Second, the side on which the cover stands is the same side that will be on your screen when you close it, so you'll have to make sure it is clean before you close it or it might scratch the tablet screen. A screen protector might help minimize this.
Finally, as other reviewers have pointed out, it should have been made to open the other way, that is the top of the tablet (samsung logo) should have been close to where the cover folds, in the middle.

I'm using this case with the 10.1 2014 edition Galaxy Note, as specified. It's a nice case with a rugged feel to it. The Note clips in solidly, but there are a couple of problems.

The magnetic clasp is good, and successfully turns the Note on and off when you open and close it. However, it also turns the Note off when you fold the flap behind -- this can make it annoying to use on your lap, unless you leave the flap open (like a book) rather than folded back. I don't know if this problem is unique to this case, though.

The case makes the micro SD slot hard to use with just your fingers. This is because it reduces the space available for manipulation. If you plan to use the micro SD slot more than occasionally, this would be a problem. If you put a card in and leave it forever, then it's not a problem.

From Dutch site where I ordered my tablet, no good cover was offered. Searching the Internet gave this wonderful, fully functioning cover.
Auto Off - On with closing - opening the cover is functioning as well.

Ordered on sat 22nd Nov and it arrived Monday 24th Nov, it's a perfect fit for a Samsung note 1.10 2014 edition tablet. Back of the tablet folds up and stands it up. Thanks for great service ☺

It actually keeps your tablet in the advertised positions without falling on itself like 99% on the market do. Sturdy and nice texture. 5/5

Excellent product for the price. Been using it for a month now and no sign of wear/tear, and for the price, i almost expected it by now!

This is a stylish, robust tablet case that fits well with the Galaxy Note 10.1. Does everything you'd expect from it.
