Market Tony said you might be interested in this group, describing their recent Sydney concert, where they played one track. It sounded as he told it, like early Hawkwind minus the strobes, the naked dancer and drummer-hypnotic, music able to play with your spatial time threads. So went out to Redeye and bought this. One hour of something that moves between jazz and trance, improvised progression of sound which builds in intensity. Works well with a lot of volume. Not Hawkwind of any era, more like the return of Soft Machine Volume three but definitely its own bubble of creativity and sounds. Might also appeal to those who like some of the modern minimalists like Arvo Part. If I have one criticism is does at times become ambient but is saved by its intensity.
