Does exactly what I wanted it to do, fairly intuitive to use but a tad 'clunky'. Measures average HR and maximum HR, for the duration of your training session (duration is also recorded), but has no memory capacity. For real fitness enthusiasts this is the bare minimum you'd ask of it, and a better multifunctional monitor would be a more suitable choice.

the watch does a good job but with a strap that goes around your chest

Can be annoying to wet the sensors on the chest strap but other than that comfy and responsive. The watch is very easy to use.

Excellent item, very easy to use. Particularly like how it save information from your most recent session, including workout time, average heart rate and maximum heart rate. This is ideal if, like me, you want to create a chart and monitor your progress.

For 'Insanity' workouts, this piece of equipment is perfect.

Good quality, clear display, decent volume.

Chest strap fits well, without moving (once correct size has been adjusted to).

Excellent value for money.

I found this quite basic for the money - no calorie counter etc.

I had purchased it with the intention of leaving it fixed to a spin bike. Unfortunately, whilst the facility to switch between data fields by waving it close to the chest strap is an advertised feature, no-where did it say that this was the ONLY way to move between the various information screens. Not so easy when it's attached to the handlebars. For this reason, I have returned the item.

I'm giving this one star, because no stars wasn't an option.
One button sounds like a good idea. Easy to use. No hassle. Until you try to get it to display your heart rate and the one button just stops the stopwatch from working. You are supposed to bring the watch close to the chest strap to get it to change displays . All good until you try using a rowing machine and the display changes every damn stroke. I ended up having to strap the watch around the toe strap on the rowing machine.

It worked the first couple of times and is now refusing to display heart rate at all.
Given this is Polar, very disappointing and going back to the vendor.
