Absolutely brilliant album - his best. So laid back. Every song is superbly performed. The whole set is chilled and the atmosphere is totally relaxing. If you like his acoustic material, this is the album to own. It also features the wonderful Chuck Leavell on piano and Ray Cooper on percussion. Alberta is outstanding. Could listen to it over and over again.

Stunning on vinyl. Had the cd for years. 13 acoustic tracks from old "Slowhand" on a single slab of high quality 180gm vinyl.
Lovely flat pressing from Time Warner, cliché, but this is how audiophile vinyl should be done.
Breathtaking audio and fantastic music from Eric and host of top notch mucisians. 5 stars from me.

Not a lot to be said that hasn't already been stated about this fabulous album.Clapton doing the blues stripped down.A masterclass blues session.
My comment is on this 180g vinyl release, which to my mind adds a new crisp dimension to a superb show . The audio is absolutely phenomenal and quite simply enriches the experience even further.
If you enjoy Clapton doing his thang they please do not delay and buy this vinyl, which,i might add is in a gatefold sleeve with plain card inner sleeve.Ive added an anti static bag to preserve the pressing.

OK, I've enjoyed Clapton for pushing 50 years. Vinyl, cassette, CD and now MP3, regardless of format he delivers.
I have all of these tracks but at £1.99 couldn't resist this particular collection. His sound is distinctive, often haunting and I still find it difficult to listen to Tears in Heaven. But that's what music should be about; passion, emotion and something that embeds with the listener. He does it for me and I love this album.

Bought this for a clapton fan for his birthday - he's very chuffed. I'm not a huge Clapton fan myself, but I do like the unplugged Layla - great driving music

In my opinion his best and also the best of all the Unplugged, which spread like a rash in the early 1990's - Dylan, the Stones,Rod Stewart,Springsteen,Neil Young etc etc etc all had a go.

This really shows his ability, more so than Cream,461 Ocean Boulevard or Derek and the Dominoes.

The acoustic Layla is,on it's own, worth the money.

I believe this is one of the greatest albums you can own by Eric Clapton as well as ' 461 Ocean Boulevard '
