It's rock Jim, but not as we know it! Got for the hubby who had lost his vinyl copy, it has gone down well in the works van. Similar to Nirvana, LA Guns, Guns and Roses, but a better British version. This was probably the best album they did - he tells me!

The late Eighties was not a particular great time for Rock Music, with a lot of Glam Metal seeping in from the U.S, with a overproduced sound & deposable lyrics.
The Dogs were the exception to the rule, with a plug in & play attitude to studio production, & really articulate lyrics.
If I have to describe their sound, musically The Faces, words Bob Dylan.
They had a run of five strong albums, this probably just about being the best, with Tyla hitting a creative peak at just the right time
I do think it's about time they re-released all their back catalogue, with extra tracks.

Sorry couldn't resist it. Brilliant album. I used to have it on vinyl years ago and was a little apprehensive about the re-mastered digital download version. Would it sound as good? All I can say is...what a fantastic job they've done. Good clear sound without stripping the soul of the original. Just buy it!

Best rock and roll record ever. Absolutely brilliant. Pure imperfection. Broken hearts, stolen poetry, party nights, pain and happiness around a high class guy as Tyla.
