The album is a very stylized form of rap/jazz/hip-hop covering a broad range of themes which I think is it's downfall as an album. The flow of the album is disjointed with some more experimental tracks which I find to disrupt the flow. I find 3/4 to be particularly interesting with the rest good but not hugely engaging to me. My favorite track is Ghetto DEMF which has a great bassline, great lyrics and a lovely electronic undertone.
Black Milk is one of the most talented producer/mc's out, and this album doesn't disappoint in anyway, another great release to his name, and definitely worth getting, even for people who aren't fans in the first place; this could very well be the project that convinces you.
If you've enjoyed listening to this guy develop over the last 6 odd years then grab this. If you're new to black milk pick up tronic and album of the year for a slightly more conventional introduction to his production style before diving in to this more experimental offering.
All in all a solid album. Black Sabbath is probably my favourite track.
