A great book for someone who want to spice up family meals and look for some healthy alternatives

Great book with lovely photos. The paper has a glossy sheen which is great when cooking and the book contains 380+ pages! There is the usual index in the back of the book and the front details the 13 sections the book consists of. Unusually we don't have starter, fish, pots, salads etc. But rather "broke and bored", "just the two of us" and "nursery puddings." Immediately you feel at ease with the book and not intimidated. The you get to the recipes, most of which have photos which although professionally taken, they are not glossy but presented in a realistic manner. The recipes themselves are food for the soul.from AGA Khan lamb which can be cooked with or without an AGA, to chine set chicken wings.
