Issue one of the Football Pink is an eclectic mix of stories and articles including pieces on Camus, football and philosophy, an interview with a referee and the loss of Zambia's first great team. The writing is engaging and highly readable and the work setting the text and pages for Kindle conjures up the feel of an old school fanzine or pink tinted newspaper paper, which only adds to the reading experience.

This is a strong start for an exciting new football magazine, and while I'm sure the writers involved may be able to cover more outlandish topics in the future - the 1 star review below is very unforgiving - even the more familiar tales here are covered with passion and clarity.

Bring on issue 2!

A very enjoyable read with articles on a variety of football related subjects, all written at a consistently high standard.

The arrival of publications like TFP (and other other 'newbie' All or Nothing) will hopefully prompt more established magazines to write more pieces like those found here. They are a pleasant change from the PR junket/lets flog some football boots interviews with English Premier League 'stars', which dominate some journals.

Also nice to buy a football magazine that is reasonably priced and doesn't have a car or aftershave advert on every second page.

I enjoyed this first read of the quarterly collection of The Football Pink. A good mix of stories, opinions and musings. Yes, will probably buy again.

Some reasonably good football related stories and accounts from people involved in football in different capacities. Different to what some people may have expected but I enjoyed it.

A mixture of some interesting tales, I probably wouldn't buy any more issues.
Some good stories & some not very good ones.

Not bad - but you'll get better if you buy any decent fanzine outside the ground. Not sure I'll get another issue

The Football Pink Great new football magazine, with terrific articles at this price, you need to buy this. Fantastic. The articles about Euro 1996 and and the Cambridge Utd manager are well worth the admission alone!

A good read to dip in and out of whilst commuting. Well written by a group of genuinely engaging writers. Looking forward to the next few issues.

Dull stuff, read the first 3 chapters and so far i have discovered a celtic fan who is a bit bored with winning, that england played germany in the semi final of italia 90 (and gazza cried) oh and cambridge manager john beck was a bit eccentric.

No insight or anything new they read like very weak articles from when saturday comes.
