This volume of the 'Bleach' anime continues the Zanpakutô Rebellion arc and consists of another twelve episodes across two discs. The plot of the arc continues to be quite interesting with some good twists as we finally discover the truth behind Muramasa's plans and his true goal comes closer to fruition and could spell disaster for the World of the Living, as well as the Soul Society. The episodes in this volume also give us Muramasa's backstory and show us the reason behind his actions, as well as the reason behind Byakuya's actions as well.

The episodes in this volume continue to give us some very nice fights as the Soul Reapers confront their renegade Zanpakutô. Highlights of the fighting include Ikkaku's battle with Hozukimaru, Yumichika fighting Ruri'iro Kujaku and Soifon's fight with Suzumebachi. The volume also sees Kenpatchi Zaraki join the battle and all of his fights are as good as always. There are also some very funny moments throughout the episodes of this volume such as Yachiru playing with Ashisogi Jizo briefly, as well as Ukitake's interactions with Sogyo no Kotowari.

The animation of the series remains at the same level as always, as does the English dub for the most part (the Japanese is included as well of course). The only minor issue with the English dub is that Kenpatchi's voice actor has changed from David Lodge to Patrick Seitz and although it could be just that I am too used to the old voice but I feel the new one doesn't quite fit.

Overall this was a very entertaining instalment of 'Bleach' and is well worth a full five stars.

This is obviously taking a break from the Aizen Arc, however, its nice to see what personalities the zanpakuto have as well as what they look like in human manifestation.
It gets better with every series!

This is a must for anyone who enjoys anime or even people new to the genre. This would be a great start for them, but you need to start from the beginning and with the knowledge that there are 100's of episode's.
