Just like its sister set of Volume 1 Julie London Volume 2 contains Eight Classic Albums. 8 Classics
The albums are "Swing Me An Old Song (1959)", "Your Number Please (1959)", "Julie...At Home (1960)", "Around Midnight (1960)", "Send For Me (1961)", "Whatever Julie Wants (1961)", "Sophisticated Lady (1962)" and "Love Letters (1962)".
It has 96 tracks, all of which have been 'remastered for a superior sound'. As with many in this series they are helf on 4 Cds and held in a fat double Cd Jewel Case.
The Label 'Real Gone Jazz' has had some really good reviews for this remastering of sound on other collections.
But Amazon has not, at the time of writing, given us the track listings which seems to me to be of interest for the potential buyer.
So here it is. Cat #: RGJCD412

1 This is Volume 2 of “8 Classic Albums” with the next 8 albums from 1959 to 1962. Julie London is a great album artist with 29 studio album releases. To have these eight albums in one set is simply fabulous! To purchase them separately will be much more expensive. 2 As noted above, there are many singles found within the above albums. Because many of Julie’s singles are non-album tracks, therefore, if you are looking for her Singles Collection, please look elsewhere. 3 The sound is very well remastered. 4 8 LPs; 96 songs; good value!
1 There are no bonus tracks. 2 As per usual tradition of “Classic Albums” series, there is no booklet, with no label and number and no chart position. I do miss those beautiful album front covers of Julie London.
Julie London was born Julie Peck on September 26, 1926 in Santa Rosa California. She has an illustrious recording career with 29 studio albums. She was a talented singer, stylist and highly distinctive interpreter of songs. She sadly died of a stroke on October 18, 2000. (age 74).
If you are looking for her Singles Collection, I would highly recommend “The Julie London Collection 1955 – 62” (Acrobat Music, 2CDs, 2017, 58 songs). If you are a Julie London fan, these 2 volumes of “8 Classic Albums” are a Must-Own!

What a price to pay for such a quality singer and product. Amazing value - can't be faulted; maybe my ears aren't as critical as those of other less-than-happy buyers but here is luxury you CAN afford! A sheer delight - she just smoulders. I have most of Julie's albums on vinyl so can read the sleeve notes if I choose, not that they were ever that expansive but to have so many albums so easily accessible in one package is just fine by me.
