love it- inches lost but not much weight lost, also - use right footwear

I love Shaun T and have done his Hip Hop abs when I was trying to lose the baby fat, post delivery. It was so much fun and full of dance but breaks so much sweat. Anyway tried T25 now to quickly and effectively lose weight in a comparatively lesser time.
This T25 is HARD but when determined anyone can do it. It is definitely easier than his Insanity or Asylum workouts. Would advise those new to fitness to follow Tania in the low intensity variant or its too much hard on your joints. Anyone will be drenched in sweat at the end of 25 minutes and trust me you will never think 25 minutes can do so much to you. It is majorly cardio combined with strength training.
I only tried the alpha version till now and mostly stuck to the calendar schedule(did it for 7 weeks though). Could not really achieve double take (2 routines back to back ) on Fridays so always worked out 6 days rather than suggested 5 days.
I lost quite a few inches around waist, hips and belly. Arms and legs got toned quite well (no noted inch loss). I was drinking Shakeology as well daily for breakfast and watched every bit of my diet. At the end of 7 weeks my weight loss was very little and was disappointing. This could be me as every body reacts differently and I was told I could have developed more muscle and thus no significant weight loss. However seeing sweat soaked T-shirt was so rewarding and I still love to do this. But to me the workouts and outputs for Tony's 10 minute trainer (with much less knee impact) still makes it top the list better than T25.
Involves a lot of jumping (Burpees, jacks, high knee jogs, jump squat and push ups) which is some serious work on the leg and knees. So very important to wear the right training footwear with proper cushioning. The shoes I used to wear for my 10 minute trainer, Chalene's PIYO and hip hop abs did not work for this and gave me a real bad knee pain after 3 weeks. So watchout! Good luck everyone.
